To ensure a fair and organized event, iStart Ideathon has established the following rules and regulations. We kindly request all participants to carefully read and adhere to these guidelines throughout the ideathon:

  • Participants must register in advance through the official iStart Ideathon website.
  • Registration is open to school and college students.
  • Teams should consist of 3-5 students and are encouraged to include one mentor/teacher as part of the team (optional).
  • Each participant can only be part of one team.
  • Ideas should be original and innovative, addressing real-world problems or offering unique solutions.
  • Plagiarism or infringement of intellectual property rights is strictly prohibited.
  • Each team will be allocated a specific time slot for their presentation and pitch.
  • Presentations should be concise, clear, and well-structured, highlighting the key aspects of the startup idea.
  • Violation of any of the rules and regulations may lead to disqualification from the event.
  • Participants are expected to abide by the event's code of conduct, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. Participants will be immediately disqualified if they are found indulging in malpractice.

iStart Ideathon is an entrepreneurial event organized by iStart, Dept of Information Technology & Communications (Govt. of Rajastahn), in collaboration with Studybase, Tinkerly & Codevidya. This event aims to promote and ignite startup ideas among school and college students. This primer tech event is organized across six cities in Rajasthan, including Udaipur, and it brings together aspiring entrepreneurs, industry experts, and mentors for a day of ideation, collaboration, and inspiration.

iStart Ideathon is open to college and school (class 6 to 12) students who are passionate about entrepreneurship and have innovative startup ideas. Students from all disciplines and backgrounds are encouraged to participate.

iStart Ideathon offers a unique opportunity to learn from delegate speakers who will share their knowledge and guidance. The event features interactive sessions, workshops, and panel discussions to enhance your entrepreneurial skills. Additionally, there will be a pool prize of Rs 90,000, engaging games, and competitions to add excitement to the event.
iStart Ideathon encourages participants to form teams consisting of 3-5 members. This should be an opportunity for you to get more like minded students in your institutes to join hands with you.
Yes, iStart Ideathon aims to provide mentoring support to the participants. Experienced mentors and industry experts will be available on request to guide and assist teams throughout the event.
